Dr. Patrina M. Clark is a scholar-practitioner, educator, entrepreneur, nonprofit leader, and former federal senior executive whose career has spanned federal service, higher education, organizational consulting, and nonprofit leadership. Her work has focused on leadership, governance, organizational effectiveness, learning, and human development, informed by doctoral research in Human and Organizational Learning at The George Washington University.
Across four decades of professional practice and inquiry, a central question persisted: What helps people remain grounded, purposeful, and fully human amid uncertainty, change, challenge, and opportunity?
That question became the foundation for the CALM Leadership™ Framework. At its heart is a simple belief: life is meant to feel meaningful, fulfilling, and deeply aligned with who we are. While every life includes seasons of struggle, loss, and uncertainty, we possess a remarkable capacity to reconnect with clarity, purpose, joy, and possibility.
Through her writing, speaking, teaching, and consulting, Dr. Clark helps people strengthen the capacities that support human flourishing and create lives that feel more grounded, intentional, and fully their own.
